Tetouan is an authentic and precise reconstruction of the STaM script from a Torah scroll found in the city of Tetouan, Morocco. In this city, which was home to a glorious Sephardic Jewish community, it was customary to write Torah scrolls in a unique style, slightly different from the common Sephardic script. The letters in the font preserve a traditional structure, yet with distinctive design touches that reflect the history and culture of North African Jewry. The font combines historical authenticity with modern usability, and is especially suited for the design of sacred books, traditional Jewish documents, posters for religious ceremonies, traditional event invitations, and logos wishing to convey deep cultural and historical roots. Tetouan brings back to life a script preserved across generations, giving every design a sense of sanctity, tradition, and artistic precision.
